Good for a tool box.

Looks good. I'm not sure if it will fit all AC valves, but it's easier to transport than having different sized valve tools for each size. I like it.

Pros
  • A sea of positive emotions
Cons
  • The list will be long.

Works as expected with tools and equipment

Not much to say about this valve core remover/installer. I bought it when I solved the problem with the air conditioning in the car. It worked as expected and at a reasonable price.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Works perfectly! Fits A/C line repair tools

Use this at least a couple of times a week and it's nice to have stuck valve cores and pull them out easily with pliers. I borrowed some plastic from other techs and they slid over the tight ones.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Protection

SMALL BUT POWERFUL: Air Conditioning Line Repair Tools

This was absolutely perfect for replacing a leaking schrader valve on my old truck. It couldn't be easier! Well made and at a fair price. This 64-year-old saved tons by doing it at home and not paying an air conditioner mechanic. Powerful, really powerful.

Pros
  • This is Amazing
Cons
  • Crumpled Packaging

Very good solid tool

Very good solid tool. I've read reviews of similar tools that break trailing ledges. I bought this because I didn't need to break a cheap tool and damage the schrader valve. This tool also fits the large high flow valve on my 2006 Jeep Liberty.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Made/Assembled in USA

Shaft appears to be steel (magnetic) but knurled portion is aluminum (non-magnetic). Suitable for JRA/EATON standard and large bore valves. Fits my application (WJ Jeep). Extra points for Mastercool for appearing on the box to be made or assembled in the USA.

Pros
  • Top marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not everything fits

The perfect tool for your purpose

The perfect tool for your purpose. A large 10mm high side valve core was removed which subsequently became stuck after 19 years of use (Jaguar XJ8 from 1998). Needle nose pliers couldn't move it, but this tool (clamped with channel locking pliers) pulled it out with no problem.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Clarity

Mastercool: Air Conditioning Tools & Equipment

Master Cool (81290) for R134a works great. it is fixed in the middle so that you can hold it comfortably. At a very good price. I can definitely recommend Master. (81290) For 134a

Pros
  • Great Design
Cons
  • Functionality

Essential tool for servicing AC High and Low Pressure Switch Ports

It is used to service high and low pressure switch ports on Ford Superduty trucks. Assuming there is no charge left in the system, remove the pressure sensors and use this tool to remove the valve cores. This solves some of the mysterious AC leaks. tire tool. You probably only used one side of this (same as one side of this Mastercool puller) to remove the tire valve stems. Well, the tip of the four-way tool has left-hand threads, so screw it in counter-clockwise as far as it will go and pull…

Pros
  • Enjoyable
Cons
  • Older Model
