Review on TSWNE Handguards Motocross Enduro Aluminum by John Mahfood

Cheap product, rubbish.

I was very hopeful when they arrived. Be in good shape, not too big. Fits my XR400. This "pros" end. It's cheap die-cast aluminum that's not designed for anything. Both sides broke in two at the same spot on the same ride. Only my second trip with them is certain. Stuck on the mountain and parked the bike. So it's obviously not a high speed or impact accident. I have no idea how the other side broke in the same place. The inner brackets are also made of soft aluminium. So much so that they continued to loosen due to wear on the bracket itself. If they were made from aluminum rod and had thicker, stronger brackets, they might actually be worth something. How are they currently made? Well, you'd better continue your search elsewhere.

Pros
  • As everything before
Cons
  • Operating speed
