Review on πŸ“· Olympus M.Zuiko Digital ED 12-50mm F3.5-6.3 EZ Lens: A Versatile Silver Lens for Micro Four Thirds Cameras by Ananta Crowley

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Affordable, weatherproof, sealed and versatile

Just received last night around 7:30 so it was getting dark. I opened it up on the OMD 5 and ran outside to check it out. Some may shake their heads reading my review, but I'm not a photographer and don't have an in-depth knowledge of mm-stops or f-stops. I use a camera for personal reasons, although I've done weddings, baby showers and photo shows for those who couldn't afford it, but I do it because I love photography. From what I thought at first when I attached it to the camera, it seems very well made. Because I asked these questions in this review, my biggest concern is whether I can take a group shot of many people instead of taking two separate shots. The answer to that is you can, and boy was I glad to see it. It focused very quickly and I also like the auto-zoom feature. I live on the Ct coast and love waking up to the beach, taking photos of boats, sailboats, people skiing, piers, fishing or just every day at the beach. This gives all the benefits I need when I'm outdoors and shooting both close-ups and landscapes. I'm also glad it's weatherproof so I don't have to worry. The package arrived much quicker than I expected (thank goodness) and it was very well packaged although it had no invoices or instructions or was in an Olympus box. Bought new, not used. Zooming in and out is very smooth, no noise. and I really think this will be my choice of lens. These lenses are so expensive and I hope I have helped those of you LIKE I LOVE who really just want to take photos but want to get the best lens for all shooting modes.
