My 1997 Passat TDI has motegi R7 rims. I've ran them on my jettas ETC. I put new tires on and there was a hop at low speeds. I thought it was tires but decided to look into hubcentric rings. They centered my wheels and the hop is gone. These are made of plastic that won't corrode between the aluminum wheels and steel rotors. I never thought wheels won't center, I always thought the lug nuts would center the wheels alone, I was wrong. I will be running these rings with all my aftermarket wheels from now on. They are cheap and well worth it plus taking stress off the lug bolts.
