My son wears 32, I ordered 36 BC 34was $5 more? So 36 wasn't too big at all. It extends 2 inches beyond the first loop. I think I'm 34, it won't look that pretty. It would get stuck before the first loop and just look clunky. So, I'm glad I decided to save a little and save $5! Overall, however, the strap is reversible and money well spent.
