This controller is very high quality and I recommend it to everyone. The D-Pad is fantastically well built in as it feels sturdy in the body and when switching from one mode to another it retains that solid and well built feel. The controller picks up fingerprints like nothing else, which is to be expected from anything with a chrome finish. Very easy to clean. I use this controller exclusively for PC gaming and it has worked flawlessly so far. (Note that this controller does not work out of the box with a PC and requires a wireless receiver adapter).
