I packed this fridge for a week's vacation at the beach. I chose this fridge for its soft, bag-like design that made it easy to fold into our luggage and the design of the bag made it easy to carry our stuff that we packed inside. It kept our drinks cold and there was plenty of room for our lunchtime snacks and sandwiches. This fridge also came in unexpectedly handy when we were packing for our flight home. We bought some souvenirs and found some pretty seashells on the beach and wanted to take it all home without getting spoiled/crushed in our luggage. So we took some plastic bags from Wal-Mart and wrapped them around our fragile souvenirs, and then we hid it all in this fridge. The sides of the cool box are insulated and have a soft finish to protect items. We then placed this cooler in one of our hard cases. All of our belongings survived the 3 hour flight home and were scattered at the airport by movers. Therefore, this cooler has proven to be very useful for us. It works well so I'm very glad I bought it.
