Shoes are already disassembled

Hello. I'm a lawnmower and always on my feet and the reason I gave this 1 star rating is because I've had this pair of shoes less than a week and they're already falling apart. Also mowing in the mountains it looks like the shoes will fall apart due to my weight and I only weigh 165lbs but yeah I won't be buying another pair of these sneakers. Hope this review helps someone else

Pros
  • WHAT YOU NEED FOR THE WALK: Timberland has the gear you need for any outdoor adventure, including outdoor jackets and coats, backpacks, suitcases and outdoor accessories.

Comfortable, minimalist and versatile

Exactly what I was looking for for a trip to Peru and the price I got it is great. I've worn them to restaurants, bars, museums, walks and hikes. I love that they are solid color with a subtle logo unlike most hiking boots. They were dusty and dirty but cleaned up easily with a damp paper towel. They are incredibly comfortable. I wore them lightly for a week before a trip and never had any discomfort, pain or blisters. I have a high arch but don't need extra support yet. Will definitely buy…

Pros
  • Rubber outsole
Cons
  • Running speed

Might be ok after hacking, but doesn't suit my needs.

They are a little tight and uncomfortable at the ankles. They're soft but odd, digging into the ankles instead of just maintaining their natural shape. They may be better after a break, but overall they're incredibly stiff and uncomfortable. They littered the sides of my feet and skinned the backs of my ankles in less than a quarter of a mile. I also had great thick socks. They didn't have arch support, which I also found very useful. They were also a little tight for my taste. I knew…

Pros
  • The men's White Ledge hiking boot features a premium genuine waterproof leather upper, seam-sealed waterproof construction and stainless steel hardware with top hooks for secure lacing.
Cons
  • No performance

Not good for longevity.

It's not about fit or style, it's about durability. I got her to work in a brewery. The soles fall apart. They deviate at the seams and from the boot itself. Don't take them with you when working in them, let alone hiking. The tread portions are also separate from the bottom of the boot. The insoles are good, the leather stays put. but whatever glue you use, it won't work at all. I've only had them for about 4 months and already have to start looking for another pair of boots. I thought…

Great upper, outsole wears out quickly

I use these boots for work and home. I've had at least 5 pairs over the years. Even though my agency supplies me with decent boots, I buy these boots because they have hooks at the top instead of eyes so they're easier to put on and take off. The upper is holding up well, except that after about a year of use I've got signs of wear across my thumb. The soles need some improvement to get a higher rating from me. After about 6-8 months of moderate use (walking an average of 10 miles per week on…

Pros
  • 100% leather
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

Timberland hiking boots for all seasons and worth it.

Black and 'definitely' waterproof, Timberland sneakers have always been my husband's favourites. I gave them to him. He wore them all snowy winter through ice, sleet, rain and everything without leaking. It stayed dry and comfortable. The fit was a bit tight but very loose and he wore thinner socks as they also kept you warm. The rest of the months he still prefers these boots mostly with cargo shorts and jeans, everything. He wears them all the time and they look just as good now as they did…

Pros
  • Imported
Cons
  • Only available in black

Save hundreds of dollars and buy these boots!

I work in pool maintenance and repair. This means working 8 hours a day, 5-6 days a week. Constantly wet shoes, muddy, walking 1-2 miles a day, 100+ degree days etc. I started wearing quality comfortable tennis shoes and was pleased with the comfort and non-slip soles as I walked onto the pool deck, tiles and the pool went rocks The only problem I had was 3-4 pairs of shoes a year for about $50 a pair or $200 a year. After 20+ years of use, I decided to look into good, comfortable work boots…

  • Shaft measures approximately 4.5 inches from arc

  • Very expensive
