I work in pool maintenance and repair. This means working 8 hours a day, 5-6 days a week. Constantly wet shoes, muddy, walking 1-2 miles a day, 100+ degree days etc. I started wearing quality comfortable tennis shoes and was pleased with the comfort and non-slip soles as I walked onto the pool deck, tiles and the pool went rocks The only problem I had was 3-4 pairs of shoes a year for about $50 a pair or $200 a year. After 20+ years of use, I decided to look into good, comfortable work boots. on the Timberlands. To my surprise, I am very happy with the comfort, the look and most of all the durability! It's been over a year and I still have probably a year to get my first pair of Timberlands. If I were to start with Timberland I would definitely save hundreds of dollars off my last twenty dollars! Highly recommended!
