Review on 🐹 ISMARTEN Hamster Hammock: Juggle Jungle Warm Bed & Playhouse Set for Sugar Gliders, Squirrels & Hamsters by Keith Mertz

These parts are very nice but of poor quality and not strong enough for a rodent cage. One of the triangular hammocks was missing a hook when we received the set, but we thought we could temporarily use one of the other pieces as we planned on swapping out the pieces while we washed the others to keep the rats occupied and stimulated. We liked how the characters looked in the cage, they're quite whimsical. However, the rats immediately began chewing them, leaving a hole in the overhead tunnel within the first 5 minutes. We had to take it out. This morning we found a triangular hammock lying on one side of the cage because they chewed through one of the straps holding the mounting hooks and rendered that part unusable. They did the same with the ribbon holding the long stuffed faux branch so it's now useless too. While these items are very attractive, they are definitely not fit for the purpose they were designed for. I would strongly advise against using them to decorate a rat cage.
