Perfect for carpet!
The playmat is a bit small but perfect to be just a placemat. Personally I was looking for something bigger but ended up leaving it with my grandma so my kid could have his own playground. I had fun putting the pieces together. It's nice if you're looking for something other than rainbow letter rugs.
