If you're looking for a wireless car charger for your phone, this is probably the only one you should consider. They, if not all, have an "auto-clamp" function. Sounds cool doesn't it. That's what I thought when I bought one with this "cool" feature. It automatically opens both clamps when the car is started and works as expected. But there's a catch, the clips can automatically reopen while you're driving, likely due to voltage fluctuations in the car's DC outlet, and your precious phone goes offline. This happened to me twice while driving on the freeway. Luckily, neither of these two incidents did any harm to my phone, but it will eventually. That's why I chose this one with a manual tensioning mechanism. So far, I am very satisfied. It charges, keeps the phone stable, and most importantly, doesn't drop the phone suddenly.
