This is a very strong tripod ball head, suitable for light work. I use it to mount my webcam, but it's good for both point and shoot and mirrorless cameras (with a reasonable lens length - I wouldn't use it with a body that comes with a 100-300mm lens is equipped). I really like that the ARCA cymbal is about half the size of a regular cymbal, but if you want to use a larger cymbal it should fit. The cold mount on the side is a nice feature that allows you to use an external microphone or a small microphone. bright.
