Quality product in dishes and service

I was looking for a quality product, not made in China, reliable for everyday use. This jug is perfect for preparing various teas or infusions. The glass is very thick and the opening is wide, making it very easy to clean. We didn't pour boiling water in it when we made ice tea as there is no info on how to pour boiling water in it, but we poured 160 degree water in it and it was fine. The plastic lid it comes with doesn't seem very strong but I was looking for a sturdy jug and didn't really bother with the lid.
