For some strange reason my daughter now wears glasses (she doesn't need them). Grandmother gave her such old readers and she carried them faithfully. I didn't want her eyes to have permanent magnification, so I removed the lenses. She continued to wear them without looking any weirder. I bought these cute blue light blocking glasses from here as she spends a lot of time on her iPad and computer. It was a win. They are a bit big on their 8 year old face but still cute.
