When I use it as the primary monitor for my computer it works fantastic. Great brightness, crisp colors. Great for creating art, great for rendering, great for watching videos. In fact, I would give it 5 out of 5 if it weren't for the fact that the screen randomly turns off for only 2-5 seconds at a time. This happened every 5 minutes, sometimes not at all during the day. Or at least I know the monitor stays on pretty much 24/7. I was concerned that this might be the cause and started turning it off during periods of inactivity, but that didn't help. Screen. Except that it's only temporary. I was worried it was my GPU, it's a brand new RTX 3080. Except that it's been tested perfectly on two other monitors over a long period of time. I was worried it was the cable, but I've tried several HDMI cables and they work great. (For some reason, even though it's advertised as HDMI, it comes without its own HDMI cables. Only DVI cables that don't work. I should know because the same DVI port on my GPU worked fine on a different piece of hardware , just not on this monitor.) This doesn't seem to be an issue with other reviews, but keep that in mind. I am very careful with all my tech, so it just seems to be the result of a factory error. The monitor is still usable, but it bothers me several times a day and interrupts my work.
