A small price for good protection

I drive around town a lot with my Ford Ranger. I simply refuse to pay exorbitant hotel prices for the pleasure of climbing into a bed that a stranger crawled out of a few hours ago. I have everything I need except a shower. Amyway, I recently increased my comfort levels by adding an inverter and battery system to my 'RV'. I've experienced the battery cable kinking while driving in the past. I decided not to experience it again. When I decided to install an electrical system, installing built-in fuses was a necessary necessity. These fuses and housings are perfect for my application. I connected a fuse from the truck battery to the new maintained relay and then connected the other fuse from the relay to the inverter battery. Now in case of a short circuit or overvoltage. My truck won't burn to the ground. I understand that I could tune the system without installing backups. And many motorhomes and campers are set up that way. And many motorhomes and campers burn down to the ground on the side of the road. For the price, the security these fuses offer can't be beat. And as the system ages, I'd rather find out there's something wrong with the system through a blown fuse than find out by setting my truck on fire.
