This phone is my first experience with Apple products. All their previous devices didn't fit due to the small screen size. On the first day of sales of this phone in 2022, I bought it and was incredibly pleased. At the moment, my experience of using this device is ~ 2.5 years and I do not plan to use it. During this time, I applied to the service center only once: warranty work on fixing the seal on the front camera. It was a factory marriage of the first batch. Somewhere after 2 years and 2 months of operation, the sound / vibration mode switch began to work incorrectly. Throughout 2022, I used it almost every day due to work. Also, during all this time, a decrease in battery viability by 20% is noticeable. It survives from 7 am to 9 pm, but with a tight fit, if you exploit it "moderately" (read: do not play games, go to social networks once an hour for 15 minutes, a permanent location for Google Maps is included). During all this time, the Lightning port was clogged with dust once. I thought that this was a defect in my smartphone and it was time to take it to the service, because the charging began to stick badly and did not enter the port entirely. However, it was enough just to clean this port with a needle and the problem was solved. Otherwise, the phone is amazing, everything else works like clockwork: it still doesn’t slow down and doesn’t lag, Apple Pay works flawlessly, there are no failures in the sensors, 64 GB of memory is more than enough (I store photos in the cloud, only my favorites are on my phone) . Even the Lightning cable has never been replaced, apparently I was so lucky that it did not fray like everyone else. Last year I use the phone in a case, but without a protective film and glass. The fact is that with Apple, with the proper level of phone operation (careful use, but without fanaticism), the screen does not scratch at all, but buying an expensive device and sculpting a film on the glass in order to completely score on tactile sensations from interaction with this glass makes sense No.
