Review on BUD Industries Mounting Bracket Length by Ethan Delaney

The dimensions listed for this item are misleading, especially to an electrician who is used to purchasing junction boxes based on actual enclosure dimensions. The listing says the measurements are 17-1/2" L x 17-1/16" W x 10-1/4" H, Gray finish. So I figured I'd get a square box with the measurements about 17" x 17" x 10". The box came with actual door dimensions of 14-1/4" x 16-1/4" x 10" deep. The absolute widest point from the far edge of the door hinge to the far edge of the latch is 15". I don't know where that came from 17-1/16". Otherwise it appears to be very well built, comparable to Wiegman or Hoffman cases which are about three times the price. Just note the size variation.
