These skates are beautiful to look at! I'm a size 7 1/2 wide and a size 7 fits perfectly with some room. Very comfortable inner pillow. I'm 56 and wanted to try skating again. The skates arrived as planned on January 10th, I practiced at home and went to the rink on January 13th ready to go! Of course, when I accidentally shifted my weight, I lost my balance, sprained my butt, and suffered a bump on the back of my head. but I looked good in my roller skates! The only negative I can point out is that this is definitely a beginner skate. They do not roll over the laminate floor or the ice rink floor as easily. You have to keep moving your feet. You will roll for a few seconds, then you have to push off with your feet again. It annoyed me a little, especially on the rink. Otherwise not bad. I will be using them around the house from now on.
