The SSD arrived unopened, looked normal, was recognized in the BIOS after installation but Windows failed to initialize it and showed a capacity of 0GB. After some research online I came to the conclusion that this means he is dead. I sent it back and eventually got a refund, but the same item was out of stock so I had to order another, much slower 4TB SSD at a higher price instead.
