The lettering is nice, the dial is legible with a retro touch and the durability seems to be there too, although time will tell. Dad really liked the clock and the inscription. Overall I think it's good value for money. The only thing really missing is that I would have liked the watch to be a bit bigger. The size/quality compared to the cost was more than fair. You get what you pay for so don't compare it to a $50 watch but I'm sure there are $50 watches out there that are inferior to this one. The presentation box feels comfortable and comes with an extra watch chain.
