Description of Razer Kaira Wireless Gaming Headset Xbox Retro Gaming & Microconsoles

TriForce Titanium 50mm Drivers: With titanium-coated diaphragms for added clarity, these cutting-edge drivers can tune highs, mids, and lows separately—producing brighter, clearer sound with richer trebles and more powerful bass. HyperClear Supercardioid Mic: With great rear and side noise rejection, the detachable 9.9mm mic also has a sensitive low frequency response—supported by mic monitoring and game/chat balance to ensure optimal levels. Dedicated Mobile Mic: Hidden in the headset is a second mic that works without the HyperClear Cardioid Mic for convenient communication on the go or answering calls. Breathable Memory Foam Ear Cushions: Using a fabric weave that doesn’t trap heat, the headset is easy on the ears, while its soft padded headband provides even more comfort to stay in peak form during gaming marathons. EQ and Xbox Pairing Button: Tap twice to cycle through 4 EQ settings—such as FPS Mode that enhances in-game audio like enemy footsteps, and Bass Mode to amplify low frequency sounds / hold once to connect the headset to the console. Xbox Wireless and Bluetooth 5.0: Connects directly to the Xbox Series X|S with a great signal range that perfectly supports couch gaming, and Android or iOS smartphones for mobile Xbox gaming via Bluetooth 5.0. Connectivity issues (probably an Xbox issue)

I first bought this headset for use with the X series and my PC. In my experience it was good but not impressive. I'm having some intermittent popping noises in my headset, which I have researched to be an interference from the connection between the Xbox controller and the Series X. Also, it's strange, sometimes I have no sound after pairing, I have to reconnect. Bluetooth connection to PC and phone was pretty good, no dropouts or connection issues. My problem is that on a PC, chat audio and…

One of the best headphones for the Xbox family!

These headphones work great on the Xbox Series X. I was concerned about the recent issue with the X-Series wireless headsets causing crackling and distortion, but I turned on the Kaira Pros and synced you. it is without these problems. I downloaded the Razer Headset Setup for Xbox app on the Series X to set up the chroma lighting and EQ sound settings. For all the best, DOWNLOAD THE APP AND SET YOUR AUDIO EQ! You will hear a difference in sound quality and clarity compared to the base units. I…

PLEASE READ BEFORE BUYING! I

THE RAZER KAIRA PRO! All I can say is WOW and Wooowwww. I haven't had the headset in over 2 weeks and there are a few things you MUST know before you buy this headset! Likes: The headset is very comfortable. It has a nice (in my opinion) stylish design. It doesn't look cheap and doesn't feel like it's going to be easily broken. It features adjustable EQ settings so you can mix and match the sound the way you want it! Dislikes: Oh my god. I wish it was something I saw in other reviews before…

Pros
  • Always liked
Cons
  • No performance

Not convincing for me.

Music quality: As others have written, the sound out of the box is terrible. If you play around with the equalizer, it gets better. If you've always heard of AirPods, they will sound great. If you get to the audiophile side of the spectrum they sound exactly as you would expect, fairly cheap. All the bass and treble are tiring. I'm in the thick of it. For reference: the headphones I use (Galaxy Buds 2, Sennheiser Momentum tw2, Phillips Fidelity X2, various Bose). Gaming Sound: They work well in

Too many connectivity issues on Series S

I bought these for the Xbox Series S and to be honest they sounded pretty good when I found some settings I liked but unfortunately this headset has it for me doesn't work as it has some pretty serious problems. Pros: - You can download the app straight to your Xbox to play around with the equalizer settings and find the sound you want. - The controls on the headset are great (volume, game/chat, mute, EQ preset button) - The microphone seems great as far as sound goes. Friends said I sounded…

Pros
  • Big selection
Cons
  • Dull hardware

Be careful with limitations when using Bluetooth

This review is of the Razer Kaira Pro. (The Pro version has Bluetooth, but the regular version doesn't.) I'm not a music lover and don't make Bluetooth calls, so I can't comment on those aspects. Having said that, I think these headphones are pretty good no matter what. I made sure to update the firmware before using it. Going wireless is a game changer. Don't worry about the headphone cable sticking out of the controller anymore. I play about 1-2 hours every day and only charge it once a week.

Pros
  • Holding my fists
Cons
  • Hard to say
