I decided to make a video and show photos because the lack of instructions is frustrating. So I used it to join two Ikea rugs into one larger one! After unwinding the tape, 1: attach it to the back of the rug (make sure it's flat) 2: use a damp cloth (not wet, but damp) and place it on the brown part of the rug adhesive tape. THE YELLOW SIDE SHOULD FACE AND TOUCH THE CARPET 3: Use an iron, any will work if you lower the setting. I used the heat from 4 standard Walmart irons. And after placing the rag on top, go over it several times, for about 30-40 seconds, to make sure it melts! used.4: Once you want to dry the entire section, you can peel off the paper surrounding the yellow. You can leave it activated. I found that this did not affect the durability of the glue! It's very easy to use, you can't tell where the seam starts or ends! 10/10
