My stylist recommended Wella. I have mostly gray hair on my face and almost none on the back of my head. Redheads don't usually get along well with gray hair, and that's definitely true of me. However, the red fades after about 4 weeks and looks like highlights, so not too bad. When mixed with a developer, the smell is not terrible and the color is very beautiful. I recolor every 4 weeks along with a haircut. I just can't get my short hair colored by a salon. This works a lot better than the kit versions you can buy at the supermarket.
