I bought the VT100 to use two external monitors with a laptop that only has an HDMI video port. Installing and configuring the VT100 was very easy and the product works right out of the box. VT100 connects to a USB-A port (legacy and larger port). I then connected an HDMI monitor cable, VGA monitor cable, mouse, keyboard, and Ethernet cable to the VT100, downloaded and installed the DisplayLink driver software, and voila, everything worked without much hassle. I ran a test on the speed of connecting an Ethernet cable to the Internet and got the same speed as usual. VT100 does not slow down the network at all. Add to that VisionTek's top-notch professional packaging, crystal-clear instructions, and world-class professional technical support, and you can't beat it!
