The shoes are surprisingly comfortable straight away. Definitely more cushioning than standard deck shoes. I ordered wide. Looking at them I definitely thought they would be narrow but I was pleasantly surprised that they were fine. The only drawback is the healing bowl. Somewhat flimsy material on top that tends to curl up when put on.
