This pair of shoes was smaller than other size 12 Sperry shoes and had imperfections on the upper. Very disappointing arrival from Sperry.

The shoes are surprisingly comfortable straight away. Definitely more cushioning than standard deck shoes. I ordered wide. Looking at them I definitely thought they would be narrow but I was pleasantly surprised that they were fine. The only drawback is the healing bowl. Somewhat flimsy material on top that tends to curl up when put on.

Great shoes, I've had Sperry for over 25 years. I would say they are a little lighter than the older pair I had a few years ago, similar style/sole...the sole seems to be a lighter material...let's see how they hold up. Like all of my Sperry shoes, I wet them as I wore them and wore them until dry...like I'd worn them for years. Very convenient. Did some reviewers mention that the leather upper doesn't retain color? I agree that the uppers can be handled differently than other pairs I've had…

Worn for the first time for 2 hours. They are extremely uncomfortable. Actually, I had to take them off and walk barefoot until it was time to go home.

I rarely write good reviews but this shoe deserves a comment. Sperry has conquered the boating market with style and quality materials. Before Billfish Plushwave, my comfort level wasn't the same as Sketchers. I have a width of 9.5 and these shoes are as light as can be, the leather is soft and the arch is just perfect. The look doesn't quite match the gold cup series, but neither does the price.
