I got that mixed up somehow. It's good value for money, but unfortunately the design doesn't just brighten up the picture, it brightens up the whole room. Much brighter than it should be and as mentioned settings are limited as the lens folds all the way to the front of the lightbar so you can't aim the settings as you would hope. I'll be adding an additional $18 to each light for a plug in dimmer, this seems like a better solution than taping off some lenses to reduce light entering the room, although I'm sure flicker will be an issue with this solution will be. Some sort of optional snap-on hood or factory fitted dimmer would be a nice addition and cost a few bucks more. Therefore, this is not an ideal solution and requires additional investment to get the right luminous flux.

Pros
  • Not only usable for the intended purpose
Cons
  • Doesn't all fit
