This is a cute skater skirt. good quality material; as many write in their reviews. Yes and no, it's big. It's a slide in style. Maybe tight around the hips and then loose at the waist. No real way to adjust the waist. Note that it's very pleated, so it's a lot fuller than I thought it would be. I bought a suit for fun. For reference, my height is 5'8. Size 14-16 with a narrow waist. The back is not too short. It doesn't last as long on me as it does in some pictures on the web. Hides tummy well. Recommended depending on the intended use. I will not buy any other colors again.
