I really like this cleaning knife and have used it for many years. I'm ordering a second time as the first one started breaking after a few years of use. Regardless, I still really like the design compared to all the other cleaners I've used. However, there are flaws in the packaging of this product, hence the 3-star rating. The blade is packed in a blue plastic film. While I was able to remove most of the foil covering the blade, there are pieces of plastic left at the top and bottom where the blade connects to the base. After trying to remove it for a few minutes and almost cutting myself on the blade twice, I gave up and hoped it could be removed in the dishwasher. This is a very bad and dangerous packaging design. You must physically touch the blade to remove the film. The first time I bought it from a store I didn't have to deal with this issue as it wasn't packaged that way.
