Review on 🪑 Safavieh Lucca Retro Natural Dining Chair Set, 2-Pack by Robert Patton

I ordered them to match my Oscoro dining table from the article. The first thing that caught my eye was West Elm's Classic Café Dining Chair. They cost about $200 for 2 chairs, but when you add shipping and additional shipping costs, the cost gets ridiculously high. That's how I ended up on them. They looked almost exactly like cafe chairs, cost about $150 for 2, and came with free shipping. On arrival I noticed that the chairs come in 3 parts along with various fittings. First impression: I'm not enthusiastic about the walnut finish. That doesn't look like a nut to me. More like red mahogany. never mind I can brush them with walnut gel. I encountered a big problem during construction. Chairs are not balanced. It reminds me of the Curb Your Enthusiasm segment where Larry David faces Mocha Joe at rickety tables. A conflict ensues, as a result of which Larry is banned from the house and then opens a "wicked shop" in the neighborhood. I'll tinker with them to try and fix the problem. The magnitude of the current swing renders the chairs inoperable. If it can't be fixed I'll have to return them. :-(I have attached a video showing the problem. Please excuse the mess. Pieces of junk from (extremely unsustainable) cargo are lying on the floor.
