🪑 Safavieh Lucca Retro Natural Dining Chair Set, 2-Pack Review

They are beautiful, easy to assemble and they even have rolling feet on wheels which is nice. The only thing I would like to say about them is that they are a bit taller than my other chairs and due to the short legs I have to use a yoga block on the floor for long periods of sitting for comfort.

These chairs are nice and solid for the price but assembly is a little tricky and occasionally requires tightening. Also, the screws for the back are short, so the back will come loose and be difficult to get out with epoxy or other glue because of the curvature.

The chairs themselves look good but some parts are broken. Too much hassle to return them or even schedule shipping so we just decided to keep them. Also keep an eye on the price as it can go up and down by $30 every week.

. For the price it would be nice to arrive assembled and not have to buy special tools to make them sturdy. Look good after assembly

The chairs look good when they can be assembled. They give you a wrench to tighten a screw that will NOT fit a chair due to poor threading and the wrench doesn't even fit in the small space. So even if you could tighten a nut, you could never tighten the bolt other than by hand tightening, so it will inevitably rock forever and have to be hand tightened over and over again. Whoever designed them probably didn't finish third grade.

The chair is decent wood but the tool provided is useless. In fact, the chair is designed in such a way that you can't find a tool that fits in the cramped space to tighten the screws (I have a full garage, trust me) and make the chair secure. They are almost impossible to tighten by hand and loosen as you sit and stand up, making the chair feel wobbly and in danger of falling apart. Bad design. Revain must reimburse buyers for this unacceptable product.

I bought these to complement a vintage 1930's walnut dining table and the color was spot on. The height is better than other options (tried another brand), the backrests are higher than the competition. Expect two disappointments: one side of the lower seat rails was broken (all four chairs I received), making the chair back arrangement a circus to compensate for one side with no rail support. And as mentioned, the hex "tool" they provide doesn't match the space they want to tighten the nut…

For some reason only one chair had holes deep enough to insert and tighten screws. It took us an hour to figure out what the problem was and how to solve it (the husband who is very skilled was confused). I had to find a fairly large drill bit and make the holes deeper. If you have trouble aligning and tightening screws, check it out. They then sent a small wrench to tighten some of the other nuts and it just didn't fit in the tiny space so we could only hand tighten them. I'm taking off one…
