Good transceiver in network transceivers

I have a Ubiquity Dream Machine Pro and use two ISPs. One of these is my main connection and is used 99% of the time. Since my family works from home and attends classes virtually, I've decided to use a backup ISP. UDM Pro allows you to do this, but has an SFP port. I need this transceiver so that I can use a second WAN connection. This device does what it is supposed to do. If my main internet connection goes down, UDM Pro switches to a second ISP. It can also perform load balancing.

Pros
  • Special offer
Cons
  • Hard to say

Hot, in but not out

Ipolex Ubiquiti Gigabit RJ45 Copper worked with my Ubiquiti POE-8 switch. ).The worst thing is my SFP can't be removed! The gold latch does not "release" the latch tab, leaving the SFP stuck in the switch. Despite its apparent strength, the gold latch eventually broke on one side of the SFP.

Pros
  • Cool
Cons
  • Low maintainability

Overheats and gives 1/10 performance

Used for a 2.5G network (I think the adapter should be loaded less) In any case, the connection worked fine right out of the box, but as soon as the warmed up device (after adding about an hour) I got 200 Mbit/s instead of 2.5 Gbit/s. The same was true for multiple ports on my 10g SFP+ switch and multiple different cables (category 5e, 6a and category 7). I think that this product can only deliver the advertised speed for a short time right after connection. Be careful and test thoroughly whenโ€ฆ

Reasonable quality, good price, works with ixgbe driver

Good 1000Base-T copper SFP module. Works on my Intel X520-DA2 cards on Windows (Intel Stock driver), Linux (default ixgbe driver in the current distro) and ESXI (default ixgbe 6.0 U1 driver). Initially I thought there was an ESXI compatibility issue; However, it turned out that the adapter had a bad SFP+ port. Minus 1 for build quality, the gold colored front seat is hard to drop (which is also a release mechanism to remove the module when locked in port). ). Every time I go to shoot it looksโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Regular price
Cons
  • Not bad

Compatible with Unifi XG-16 Switch!

I wanted some SFP transceiver modules to connect 1GB devices from my network to an XG-16 switch. These modules did just that and saved me a ton of money by not having to buy sfp+ transceiver modules. I had to insert the module into the sfp+ slot until it clicks and then plug in the cat6 cable. To remove the module, you must twist the front of the module until it pops out, then you can pull it out all the way. If you want to connect a 10GB device like the Aquantia 107, you'll need a differentโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

Works great with DELL VFVGR INTEL X520-DA2 SFP+

Works great with DELL VFVGR INTEL X520-DA2 SFP+, 10GB NIC I have also ordered from Revain. Much cheaper than an Intel branded part. In my case the NIC is in a Dell R710 and the other end of the LC multimode fiber patch cord is connected to an HP 10Gb SFP+ mini GBIC compatible in an HP 2930F switch.

Pros
  • Feels good
Cons
  • Expensive

Works with UniFi

Confirmed to work with UniFi branded products. It works with my 150w 8 port switch. It's not entirely compatible. It mainly comes from telling the UniFi controller voltages etc. I don't know if I trust this in my PoE setup but I don't need it. They seem to get a little warm, but that's my subjective opinion. Surveillance, so I could easily switch off completely. Rest assured this will work with your UniFi system.

Cons
  • Hard to remember but it was
