Used for a 2.5G network (I think the adapter should be loaded less) In any case, the connection worked fine right out of the box, but as soon as the warmed up device (after adding about an hour) I got 200 Mbit/s instead of 2.5 Gbit/s. The same was true for multiple ports on my 10g SFP+ switch and multiple different cables (category 5e, 6a and category 7). I think that this product can only deliver the advertised speed for a short time right after connection. Be careful and test thoroughly when you buy it. I return mine.
