I emailed technical support with a request, got a reply with suggestions, ate the software, blew it up, connected it to another USB, etc. received the exact same letter advising to cleanse, reinstall, etc. The application number is the only thing that's altered. So, dear customers, while the company's hardware is not subpar—my son and I own Logitech keyboards and mice—you can't depend on technical help because it has morphed into an imitation of Razer. After requesting additional details from me, Logitech service contacted me and promised to replace the damaged keyboard. In this regard, I would want to change my rating from 1 star to 4, as the rating would be maximum if the problem did not have to be fixed in such a complex and troublesome manner.
