Although I've admittedly worked and only worked 24 hours, I LOVE it! I ran all the necessary updates (HP and Windows) and installed some software. I loaded all my software onto the SSD and my 377GB files onto the HDD. This PC is FAST FAST FAST! Today I have Outlook running simultaneously (with 3 accounts), Excel, SQL Server Management Studio, SQL Server Express Instance, SQL Server Migration Assistant, 6+ Chrome tabs, a few MS Access databases, a few Windows files Explorer, Harvest, Word, Kaspersky, Notepad++ etc. and had no problems with ZERO. with one small but annoying exception. As others have reported, you will find that devices connected via USB stop working intermittently. In many cases (e.g. when using a USB-connected wireless keyboard and mouse) this causes the computer to "freeze". I'm not saying this happens to ALL users having "freezing" issues, but it was 100% my cause. Anyway, after having a similar problem on my HP laptop a few years ago, I remembered finding out that it was caused by the default STUPID setting. However, this problem can be solved VERY EASY and you will not face the problem again! Open Control Panel -> if View by is set to Category, change it to small or large icons -> Device Manager -> (if necessary) click click > next to computer name to expand -> expand the "Universal Serial Bus Controllers" group. . Control tab -> SELECT DELETE Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power. That's all! It worked perfectly for me and I suspect it will work for you too. If so, please mark it as helpful so more people can see it. I don't want anyone returning their computer (or feeling "stuck" for missing the return window) for something so easy to fix. I will provide an update if my opinion on this PC changes in the future. Good luck to all of us! UPDATE June 27, 2021: I've had this PC for 7 months now and still love it! Only once (approx. 3-4 months ago) the "Freeze" problem reappeared after a BIOS update. I ran the above steps again and although everything was already showing as disabled it was enough to fix the problem. This has not recurred after subsequent BIOS updates. I am a freelancer and use this computer as a work computer at least 5 days a week and have had no problems other than those mentioned here. A couple of times I even had an Oracle VM VirtualBox Win 7 machine (to which I admittedly only dedicated core resources) at the same time as all the software I mentioned in the beginning. including an instance of SQL Server. NO DELAYS! I have owned numerous computers (desktops and laptops) in my life. Simply more than 10 HP/Compaq computers alone. To be honest, this is the first time in 6 months that I've done this without the slightest hint of buyer remorse. It was worth my money!
