Review on Strauss Wagner Earphones Connection Remote by Alvin Peoples

Best in class headphones

These are the first headphones I've bought in about 15 years that didn't come with an i device or weren't complete , detachable cable sports IEM. I bought this pair for improved calls, casual listening to music, and as an inexpensive but quality pair at home and work. Keep that in mind as you read my review. Pros and cons, here they are: Pros: Crisp, clear, full spectrum and textured sound, relatively neutral and tireless for all music genres (I record and edit a lot of acoustic music so I'm used to and prefer a fairly neutral signature for everything), there's high frequencies and slightly rolled out, so no hiss or tinny highs, no fluffy or soft bass - very tight and transparent, thin, sleek design (no crazy colors or robotic parts sticking 2 inches out of your ears), really incredible value for money (FYI, they are made in China not Germany despite the brand name), improved microphone for calls (one of the main reasons I chose these for everyday use), lightweight and comfortable for extended wear , bag in bundle, comes with a 3.5mm plug for universal use (just take the key if you need it, I use it) Cons: basic different design - thin rubber cable and headphone jack doesn't feel reinforced at all, not waterproof and probably not too sweaty also resilient, cable picks up a lot of movement noise but can be placed behind ears to muffle it, no foam pads contain fixings, none Magnets or clips that need to be held together left and right when stowed, no headphones for outdoor or rugged use - rather casual listening and calling indoors of home and office, microphone picks up minimal bass frequencies. I'll edit this as needed in the future when I know more about their durability. However, I am very surprised and completely satisfied with the sound quality in this price range!

Pros
  • 3.5mm standard jack for use with desktop and mobile devices
Cons
  • No insurance
