I tried this two ways. One: preparation of nails is a must, applied really thin coats, and removed extra polish from skin. Came out very nice and stayed without chipping for over a week and half. I removed them because I wanted another color or I would have kept them for 4-5 days longer.Two: second time I did them I didn’t do preparation of nails, I just put color on not thin but like I would a regular polish, didn’t have time to do clean up around the skin but didn’t look bad. It cured well but lasted 4-5 days I started seeing chipping and some bumps on the nails. So that being said if I take my time on these nails with this product it can last awhile as professional nails salons will do them. I will definitely be buying more colors of this brand. The only one complaint I have is the colors. Most colors don’t match the description, I look for a grey but then I see a dark maroon. I still like the colors but annoyed that I don’t get exactly what the description states. Also, all my colors after opening them are smooth and not chunky. Oh also they are much easier to remove then nail salons in my opinion. No harsh side affects after removing my gel nails.
