I was so excited to get these for my daughter. They are very cute, I liked that they are soft but durable at the same time. The problem is that the buttons don't work at all. If anything, they reduce friction and make shoes more slippery. My daughter was carrying them with me to the restaurant today and her legs slipped right under her and she fell onto her back and hit her head on the floor. I am angry. I will never buy this product again. I almost threw them in the trash at the time. Do not buy these shoes for your child.
