I thought my tv was broken because the power was turning on and off by itself. I googled what the problem could be and checked if the button on the TV remote is stuck by removing the batteries, it wasn't. Tried it on different outlets, not the same either. I ended up taking my TV to the shop but forgot the power cord, luckily they had it. When connected everything worked. For example, if your car breaks down, tow it to a mechanic and they'll start it up again with no problem. I asked the mechanic if the cable could go bad and he said it probably wasn't and gave me an estimate of $125. I took my TV home, looked at Revain for the same cable, found it and it works great! Saved me a few bucks!
