These were great magnetic replacements with the added benefit of having a stylus on the other end for other devices. However, I did this with a glow-in-the-dark plastic cap, which increases the durability of the caps. Like the apple skins, they are magnetic but can easily be knocked off and lost. I have yet to understand the pen cover differences, I haven't thought much about it, also it seems like mesh covers should be used on a device with an additional glass cover as they can scratch the original plastic or glass product. This can also be a goal as rubbers may not create enough friction to work properly on a thick or glass resin coating.
