Review on Steel Dragon Tools Concrete Drilling by Josh Whitehead

I installed this drill rig to drill a 7" hole in a manhole wall that was only 4" thick. The thing was new, so I didn't think it wouldn't work. After the stand was installed, I installed the machine and then the core drill. I tried to turn on the drill and it just hummed. It did not work. I was very disappointed because I had an open ditch on my street and expected the inspector to close it as soon as possible. Here I am with a new drill and it didn't work. It dawned on me that I should have turned it on before installing the stand, but then again, this is a BRAND NEW drill. How can this NOT work? This means that there is no quality control at all with these devices. I had to call in a local concrete cutting and coring company to drill the hole. I am very disappointed that the drill did not work. This product cannot be trusted.
