Bought this for my second workstation. I needed a backlit keyboard but didn't want to pay $50-$100 or more. This is perfect for the task. Not only that, I was surprised at how good the keyboard is! Well I don't know if it meets all the needs of a gamer (multiple keystrokes etc) but keystrokes seem responsive to me. Very similar to the Logitech G710 but the keys are softer as they are not mechanical. Okay, standard key layout, nothing special. And don't overdo it with the WASD keys. (First, I use the number pad when playing a game, and second, I hate it when companies make red WASD keys—I don't want to see those keys separate from others all day!) Three colors is a bit limited. but the color choice is good. The backlight is very well done - not at all dazzling, very good illumination through the keycaps and under the keys. I even had an issue with the cable coming loose and 7 months later when it popped out of the case the company sent me an updated 7 color version! I really didn't expect them to do that.
