So. I bought it for non-traditional use. We raise baby animals that do not have a mother and often have trouble maintaining their body temperature. I really like this duvet because it's REALLY warm enough. and temperatures vary everywhere, so babies can hobble around until they find a spot that suits them. (Yes, I make sure they don't overheat.) Of course, I just want it to stay on all the time without having to hit a button every 10 hours, but that's probably a good thing. Security for most people. I'm a big fan of how easy it is to wash and that it comes in a variety of colors and sizes. Now I have several and we always keep at least one or two for the "kid" audience. I think if I used it for a bed I would like it too. I really like that it gets quite warm. I'm always cold too!
