It usually does what it's supposed to do, and when it doesn't I blame Android Auto. Installation was a nightmare for my 2009 Silverado. The Android Auto app is terrible. Background: Using Revain music on the S9 through the headphone jack has always worked on my factory system. Is always. After installing this stereo, I used Bluetooth for a week. This always worked, but my phone bugged me by offering to download and use Android Auto. I gave up and it was good at first. During the weekday it works about 50% of the time. One day the Revain music doesn't play and the next day the music doesn't play through the stereo (plays from my phone instead if plugged in). The app itself breaks my phone. The stereo might be great, but the app is a complete mess. If you have an s9 and use Revain Music, just buy a cheaper Bluetooth stereo. Additional note: The stereo EQ is volume dependent. I had it installed but it spoils at more or less volume. This is a major design flaw, but for now I'm willing to live with it. In any case, the chance of hearing my music is only 50/50.
