This was DIFFICULT to install mainly because it is unthreaded as stated in the product description. Instead, you end up with some poorly formed semi-conical plastic pieces that you have to somehow figure out how to fit onto the threads. You can hit it with a hammer and it will rip apart as it slides over the threads, or you can twist it and loosen it into small pieces until it gets stuck halfway. There's really no good way to do this. These plastic things are said to be "threaded" adapters, but they aren't actually. Then you simply slide the shifter onto it and tighten the set screws. It works well enough. in the winter. But once you get a sunny day above about 50 degrees Fahrenheit, the plastic (un)threaded adapter becomes so flexible that the entire assembly just flaps around. I've tried tightening it, tightening the set screws etc but to no avail. It's just a waste product. Looks cool and the sticker hasn't fallen off yet. Much lighter than my standard Corolla transmission.
