Cheap plastic adapter melts and deforms in temperatures above 22C making shifting impossible, still curls up and becomes wobbly when exposed to the sun. It was amazing before the heat destroyed it. Had to fix cheap plastic, ended up buying another shift knob.

Anodized aluminum in different colors is beautiful. Nylon/plastic bushings have been fine so far, even in hot weather. Frustrated that the shift pattern doesn't match my 6 speed transmission. I have contacted the seller but have not heard back, you may need to use the blank insert that comes with the kit. All in all not a bad experience.

This was DIFFICULT to install mainly because it is unthreaded as stated in the product description. Instead, you end up with some poorly formed semi-conical plastic pieces that you have to somehow figure out how to fit onto the threads. You can hit it with a hammer and it will rip apart as it slides over the threads, or you can twist it and loosen it into small pieces until it gets stuck halfway.
