This thing took a few tries before I got it right. A little annoying, but that's normal with "universal" products. Overall it was easy to install, but the first time I set it too low the lock prevented me from removing the key from the ignition. I had to take it apart and move it up a bit before I could remove the key. Then everything went well. It's really hard to install just because you can't see how far down the shift shaft you are when the boot is in the way. If you had the option to take the boot off and put it back on later it would be easier. but my boot had to go first.
