Review on Tent extreme double Tramp SARMA V2, gray by Gabriela Zakrzewska ᠌

Revainrating 2 out of 5

The purchase did not justify itself at all.

There is nothing special to say about the size of the tent . we wanted a tent for two people - please get / sign. But less than 3 kg. Tambour . relatively wide bottom, but the sidewall of the vestibule, formed by the awning, goes very gently to the top of the tent, while the sidewall of the tent is also quite flat. It turns out a narrow inclined triangle. If you stuff it with things, then they will simply lie on the tent, pushing through it, which, of course, is inconvenient - this further reduces the size of the inside of the tent (already small). So you can’t put much in the vestibule. The strong slope of the awning in the exit area makes it difficult to close and open the tent from the inside. You have to stretch far forward and at the same time you will definitely rest your forehead against the awning itself. Considering that in the morning the tent is covered with condensate, when you leave, you are almost guaranteed a cool morning shower. Given that the tent is equipped with a windproof skirt, its ventilation is very mediocre, which further increases the condensation Storm guys are attached to the top of the tent in the area of the arches. And in principle, they will probably fulfill their task of holding the tent in a strong wind . but with a side (even average) wind, the awning will fall on the inside of the tent (see about the design of the vestibule in the form of a narrow inclined triangle), which means that the inner tent will get wet from condensate. Total: we bought this tent for a two-week hike in Kamchatka. She completed her task, but it is worth considering that we were fabulously lucky with the weather. There were only a couple of rainy nights and there was not much wind either. Any tent would have coped with such a campaign. At the same time, all its disadvantages were fully felt :)

Pros
  • Inexpensive and not very heavy (less than 3 kg) . that's probably all its advantages .
Cons
  • * small. really very small. Roughly two people. But in principle, you can cram things into your legs that are a pity to leave in the vestibule. * small and uncomfortable vestibule * strange storm guy system
